Hi! My name is Wayne Block, and I'm an author of the G.R.O.W. and S.E.E. website. I love all things outdoors, from the vast oceans to the channels of the Everglades, and all activities that can be experienced through enjoying nature. I was a businessman and lawyer for 40 years, but that was not my passion. I followed my true passion by going back to school at age 61 and getting a master’s degree in professional sciences from the incredible Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami. Now I am spending much of my time doing research, writing, meeting with and speaking with so many people in different facets of life to help people understand what is really happening to our gorgeous planet, our incredible animals, and our people. I am not a scientist, reporter, or media correspondent. I am neither being paid by, nor am I affiliated with any political party or interest group. I simply cannot remain idle anymore and watch the demise of our world.
