SOMEPEOPLE ARE SIMPLY SELFISH PIGS

A resident “shares aftermath of July 4th celebration at local lake: 'A sad reflection of how little we Americans care'. "This is beyond ridiculous!"

A concerned citizen and the online community were appalled by the show of disrespect from partygoers after a holiday celebration. These photos are the “sad aftermath of Lake Tahoe's Fourth of July celebration." We are seeing this more and more in so many places around the world. Check out the photos of base camp on Mount Everest. These photos and videos are both a reminder to us and a warning to do a much better job of keeping our environment clean, and not covering a beach or any other areas in garbage of empty beer cases, cups, chairs, and bottles piled up in all directions.

Also remember that a lot of your trash left on a beach or besides a lake or river will find its way into the water which will harm the wildlife in those waters. Do you want to see garbage floating on the water on your lake or river? I didn’t think so. And it’s not just the water. That trash will be eaten by the wildlife on land like bears and eagles, DON’T BE A PIG. Have a great time, but when you are finished, be a steward of nature and leave the area as beautiful as it was when you arrived to enjoy it.
