Did you know? Hydrogen Power!

INTERESTING FACTS: The Environmental Protection Agency has found that transportation accounts for 14% of global emissions. In the United States, 23% of transportation emissions are attributable to medium and heavy-duty trucking. “Hydrogen can be used to convert heavy transportation like trucks from diesel to zero emissions. When hydrogen is used to create electricity in a fuel cell vehicle, the only emission is water.” Hydrogen produced without emissions is sometimes referred to as “green hydrogen” which is produced using renewable energy like wind or solar power. A major benefit of green hydrogen is that it will decrease pollutants like carbon dioxide and help improve our air quality. The International Energy Agency recommends hydrogen "be adopted in sectors where it is almost completely absent, such as transport, buildings and power generation."
